Window-and-Door-Flashing

Nobody wants a drafty home. But without a high-quality flashing material, installed windows and doors are likely to let in air and moisture. That's why we offer a wide array of flashing products designed specifically for window and door installation. From traditional window flashings, to flexible tapes for sills, to a closed-cell foam that forms a gasket under doors, our products will seal out the elements, keeping homes comfortable, dry, and energy-efficient.

Deck Flash Barrier

When applied to deck joists, DECK FLASH BARRIER creates a waterproof membrane that prevents wood rot and decay caused by the accumulation of moisture under the decking boards. DECK FLASH BARRIER self-seals around screws and nails blocking the primary pathway of water into lumber.

12-inch DECK FLASH BARRIER is a multipurpose tool for many niche decking and fencing jobs. When installed behind the ledger board, it self-seals around screws, bolts, and fasteners, preventing moisture infiltration in the structure adjacent to the deck. Installing DECK FLASH BARRIER over the ledger board creates a physical barrier, preventing wood rot caused by the accumulation of water against the lumber.

When installed around the base of a post, DECK FLASH BARRIER will prevent wood rot and decay, dramatically extending the life of your lumber.

When DECK FLASH BARRIER is placed between treated lumber and metal surfaces it creates a physical barrier that prevents the corrosion of metal caused by contact with the chemicals in treated lumber.

DECK FLASH BARRIER is recommended for both treated and untreated lumber.

DECK FLASH BARRIER is available in 3" x 75' and 12" x 25' rolls.
